Who we are

We are the 18th Primary School of Karditsa, in central Greece, and this page is a compilation of our course, so far, in the big European Erasmus+ family since 2022. About 200 pupils and 35 teachers and staff Erasmus+ work towards embracing inclusivity, respect, digital growth, and lifelong learning.

On this page, you can find detailed information on our Erasmus+ past and present projects, both in KA1 and KA2 areas. Navigate the menus to see our work and the experiences and partnerships that have shaped us.

Past projects involve a

  • KA1 project on soft skills and
  • a KA2 on inclusion titled “Creating and Designing the Inclusive School of our Dreams”.

Our current project is titled “Seeds of Knowledge: Educational Journeys in Nature” and focuses on environmental education, outdoor learning, circular economy, research and creativity.

Our school is a modern learning community with a strong European orientation and a deep commitment to the values promoted by the Erasmus+ programme. We believe that education flourishes when it opens doors to collaboration, cultural exchange, and innovative thinking.

Through our active participation in European projects, we aim to equip our students with the skills, perspectives, and experiences they need to become responsible, open-minded, and engaged citizens of Europe.

By working with partner schools across Europe, we create opportunities for our students and teachers to explore new ideas, build meaningful connections, and contribute to a shared future based on solidarity and mutual understanding.

Our dedication to these values shapes our everyday practices and empowers our community to grow beyond borders.

Below, you can watch short videos describing our school and city created by our pupils with the support of their teachers for the needs of a past KA2 project. Enjoy them and learn more about us!
