IDPD is a global UN day that is celebrated on 3 December annually. Our young learners actively participated in activities that promoted inclusion and were carefully designed to raise their awareness of the challenges people with disabilities and their caretakers face. Young learners used sign language to sing songs, they watched movies promoting inclusion and took part in paralympic games.

A memorable experience on that day was our collaboration with KDAP Prosvasis, a Centre of Creative Activities for Children with Disabilities, which visited our school and played, interacted, cooperated with our learners in an experiential mode of learning. It was certainly a day that made us all feel the need to make this a better world by offering our love and understanding to people deprived of things we take for granted and stress the importance of securing their rights.
