The Greek Erasmus+ National Agency (IKY) organized a very interesting event on Erasmus+ projects and inclusion which took place in Larissa, Greece during 10th-11th January 2024 in JOIST Innovation Park. The 18th Primary School of Karditsa was represented by one of our English teachers.

The first day of the event involved presentations on inclusion matters in education and Erasmus+ projects, an interactive exercise on inclusive mindset, detailed guidance on the rationale and value of KA1/KA2 Erasmus+ projects as well as elaboration on two good practices from Key Actions 1 and 2. The second day was devoted to the design of a successful application for an Erasmus+ project. For this reason, two parallel workshops were held, one for KA122 projects where matters of inclusion were also discussed and one for KA210 projects. In both workshops, trainees formed small groups and, based on a given scenario, designed an application which was then presented to the rest of the participants and analyzed with reference to its strong and weak points.

It was really a worthwhile experience and our staff member enjoyed her participation in the training.
